It was around 1970 or so. I think I was 8 years old at the time. We were still living in Fair Oaks, Sacramento Ca., Uncle Kin, Auntie Lou, Uncle Ty, Auntie Tita and all the kids visited us for Christmas. I really don’t remember all my presents but I do remember Uncle Kin and Auntie Lou giving me a Lionel Train set. My Dad built a wood box for me to keep it safe. 40 years later, I still have my Train set safe in its box. Although the Train doesn’t work anymore and some of the pieces are broken or missing but I kept it just the same. To an 8 year old little boy, that was the greatest gift of all time.
